so it is normal for the diagnostic port to have only 2 wires going into it?  also what do you mean when you say the cs might be the problem?  and if it is the oil sending unit how hard would that be to replace??  thanks

Lift would be great to do the cs & oil sending unit.
You dont need one, but use the resources if you have them.

I'm coming a little late to this party, but if you have spark and fuel pressure (35 lbs is lots) you may be on the right track with the oil sender.
The fuel pump will shut off if oil presure falls too low.
When the engine stalls, does the fuel pressure drop quickly? (You'll need a gauge installed to see this.)
Normally even when you shut off your car, the fuel system will hold pressure for quite a while.
If a gauge is not avilable, do it this way. When it stalls check the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. It should have pressure and spray fuel.
Just a thought.

personally i would start with the vaccum leak first, ive heard so many horror stories about people dumping money into a vehicle and $1500 later it was a 10 cent vaccum line, spray ether underneath the hood while its at a warm idle dont get all crazy it doesnt take much, if it idles down AT ALL its a vacum leak. after thinking about it though it may not be because this shouldnt turn the abs light on but who knows they tied the abs light into just about everything maybe a good enough fluxuation could trip it.
if its not that then i would move onto the pumps, with these cars today it could be anything, fuel pump, water pump, oil pump, just makes you get all pumped up and wanna send an air chisle through the manifold.

If you can find a good diagnostic garage ,it could save a lot of time and trouble-if you get lucky.
I would do the vacuum leak check first and if that doesn't turn up the problem---
---- I would definately change out that oil sender unit because the fuel pump circuit is integrated with that sending unit. The wireing diagram clearly shows it.
But after that-I would be willing to bet on the ecm, since no codes are being thrown---From past experiance i say that-Because the last hard to find bad idle, cutting out , and miss i had turned out to be the ecm.
---- But as you can see without a qualified diagnostic check while the problem is occurring it soon becomes a very expensive and frustrating  project.Someone said here-it could be practically anything-and that is oh so true.

The sending unit is right by the oil filter.
Pretty simple. It just screws out.

ive had my buddies dad who owns a shop suggest to me that it is a bad injector. he says that an injector could be getting hot and the copmuter knows enough to shut it down causing it to run crappy. could this explain why if it is acting up and i shut it off and let it cool down for awhile it will run fine when i start it back up? has anyone ever had an injector go bad and what does your car do when one does go bad?
