Hey money it's been a while sry. I changed the fuel filter and got a bunch of power back, but still having a problem with the idle when coming up to intersection or having to stop at a red light it seems and does want to stall out at just about every one. You think it could be in my charging system? alt.?

Any codes? I bet you headlights are going up and down with the idle. I can tell you that if that is the only thing that makes you think it is the alt it is something else. Mine still does that after replaced the alt(because it went out) and a great many sensors. The Idle Air Control may help or not. I think that my car needs a new vapor canistor. Have you checked for a vac leak? I will order my canistor this weekend, but don't know when I will get it on( when I do if you haven't got yours fixed I'll tell you if it worked). It's to cold to do it now. If you have the money I'd start with the IAC and replace others when you get the chance. I guess you could have the alt tested just to be sure.

Hey money sry been a while again, been busy the reason I was wondering if it might be electrical is because I just happened to try a few things that really I don't understand. When I put my defroster on the car revs about normal i think about 1400 rpms or so  and when I turn it to just the heater, lets say or bi-level my rpms drop to about 850 and some times lower and sometimes wants to stall , maybe you can tell me why that might happen.

Man, I'm not sure. RPM should be around 900 or so with nothing on. The heater and A/C controls are done by vac. The defrost should run the A/C compressor (that would make the RPM go up), but I don't know why the bi-level didn't make it go up(what about the max A/C?). I still think that it may be a vac leak for the engine(the vac control switch may be the trouble for the heater and A/C), I still don't have the vapor canistor yet. Check the RPM in all of the settings of the A/C and heat and get back to me when you can. I'll order the vapor canistor this week for sure(still don't know when I'll get it on. I'm going to put a strut tower brace on this weekend).

JT, how's everything going. I just got my vapor canistor(I hope they read my VIN right). I still don't know when I'll get it in. If it's not one thing it's another. My starter solenoid has been working off and on in this very cold weather(starts on the 2nd try). Also still have the strut tower bar to put on. Man, guess I should just update my old post, too late. Soon I will have a great many parts to put on, if I get all that has been ordered.
