LoL. Thanks man. It took some work to get her back into a nice shape. The previous owner neglected her pretty badly.

Re: Thought I would share a pic of my syclone
mid to high 12's I'm assuming for 1/4 since car & driver did a 13.06 with a factory one. Why does GM kill everything that works?
Re: Thought I would share a pic of my syclone
Because they couldn't have a truck that beats the Corvette, they made the typhoon for two years because its slower than the syclone. The guy I bought it from said he ran a 13 flat without boost launching it and that's at mile high also...
Re: Thought I would share a pic of my syclone
Here's an old pic of three of my beretta's, the 93 quaser has just been sitting in a garage, the 89 was parked due to bad clutch and the 94 (red) I drove the **** outta it and it popped the head gasket at 245k so its being parted and donated to the 89. I sold the gtu kit to styluss because I prefer the z kit, I'm going to get the quaser out and put a head gasket and get it back on the road

Those trucks are badass. I went 13.5s in one with no mods at all back in the day at Cecil. They do get tricky once you get them hauling ass in terms of tuning and fuel. A lot of young guys never see the kill coming.
Congrats and good luck with yours

I'm really looking froward to getting it to the track this summerMikey Morris wrote:Those trucks are badass. I went 13.5s in one with no mods at all back in the day at Cecil. They do get tricky once you get them hauling ass in terms of tuning and fuel. A lot of young guys never see the kill coming.

My truck was actually used as a truck, paint is scratched there's dents inside the bed but no rust and it's getting resprayed soon so it will be perfect one day but I'm still going to drive the crap out of it hahahaha

Re: Thought I would share a pic of my syclone
I'm actually old enough (grimaces at the thought) to remember when these trucks came out. I ALSO remember a story about a Ferrari Testarossa and the Syclone getting together at the Bonneville Salt Flats to run stock for stock to see what was what. As I recall the hype was the Ferrari got SMOKED 2 runs out of 3. I always wanted one of these little dudes ever since. Poor man's super truck I always called it.
Still love the truck man. Keep it clean.
