Ok, interesting day. I went to fed ex, UPS, and the local post office and got the same deer-in-the-headlights stare when I asked about a "crib box". The only place that had a box remotely close enough for the panels was UPS. They had a guitar box that they would supposedly fit in. The box was $17 and the shipping to SGR was $85!!!!
I'm improvising with 2 parts boxes from work and I'll try fed ex tomorrow. I'm only looking for $40+ship for the panels but that shipping is kinda crazy. Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow.
As for the mounting points on the back, they're all in very good shape as the pics will show.
88gtz: the GTU panels are for manual windows and locks, are you still interested?

Also try U-Haul places for boxes. They usually have some unique sizes.

Wow, that sounds like UPS anymore. Gotta supply your own vaseline these days when you go into an UPS store.

I've all but stopped using UPS for that reason. FedEx is generally half price and just as efficient.

You assumed right my friend. I'm NOT looking to drop $125 on a set of door panels. I could live with mine first! :P

Let me know what they say. That's outrageous. They're jacking based on shipping size , not weight.

To an extent yes, and thats largely due to the amount of boxes they can fit less boxes more trips, or trucks... I wanted to ship a base bumper chin to Canada and if it was in a box 61"x19"x5" it was going to cost $80 but if I cut it down to be 61"x18"x4" it was only $39 they have certain brackets of sizes, and the price increases are not gradual its somewhat stupid.

I'm now just wraping it up and shipping it out of a box, that only costs $39

Fed ex wants $45.81 to ship. I'll go $80 shipped on those if you want.
Let me know.

Yeah, ok. I guess I can live with that. They look to be pretty damn nice. So , just to RE-verify:

Power window door panels driver and passenger in good condition with all attachments and clip holders in good condition as well and for a '92 with B pillar seat belts?

PM me a PP addy and I'll get the loot headed your way.

rear seat back, not a fold down. This is the most "no frills" GTU I've personally ever seen. No folding rear seat, no pw, pl, no power trunk release, not even a rear window defroster!
