Here all 'illegal aliens' are given free house, free food, free healthcare, free education, free steady income every month [Much more(three times+?) bigger as minimum salary what people get from working]. Also they are not expected to work, so the benefits roll for rest of the life.
Also after one people gets in, tax payers will then provide free flights for "rest of the family\relatives", such as children and grandparents. I think the top is 18 people family or something like that. This is the only country on the planet to provide that as far i know.
Only thing that keeps them not coming in millions, is the harsh cold environment and darkness.

Now think about that statement. Yoiu don't think the illegals are hurting the economy? When money that SHOULD be going to legal US Citizens for aid, cleanup, homelessness, jobs, etc is instead being distributed to illegals? When illegals are taking jobs some Americans WOULD take so they could have work and feed their family?
I find your statement VERY self contradictory.
And the liberal view of "Gee it's ok, they already made it into the country, let's give them a year or two to see how it works out." is LUDICROUS. We've given it MANY years already. LA is one of the most CRIME ridden cities in the country due to influx of US/Mexico border crossings.
Arizona felt the need to step up and pass a controversial new law to protect THEIR people. And by people , I mean LEGAL Az. and US residents.
Don't forget, I live in New Mexico, so I'm probably a little closer to home on this matter than you may be. I see the devastating results of illegal residents daily.....
The economy right now is in the crapper because of what AMERICANS did on Wall street and with mortgages. I'm not even going to talk about how terrible that Arizona bill was.
You could be right about the geographical differences in this argument. I live in Chicago and do see plenty of illegals but up here the difference is you see a lot of them work horrible jobs with long hours and virtually no pay. And then you see legal citizens who could work those jobs but choose to go on welfare and be lazy instead. I feel no sympathy for those people. I also see plenty of lazy American students drop out of high school. My whole point is that an investment in education COULD yield a better return than an investment in incarceration which will not lead to a return.
Lets say we have border patrol agents standing shoulder to shoulder on the border so so one gets in. It still doesn't stop the millions who got into the country on a visa and are still here illegally because it expired. So now lets get them out of the country. We have to pay ICE agents to find them, we have to process them, if they need trials, they sit in jail, see a judge, use a public defender and then physically get them out of the country. More tax money spent there than letting the kid sit in a classroom.
Although, geographically maybe you do have a great point. Maybe down there by you you would have just as many, if not more illegals in schools if you let them all attend? So it would hurt your local tax dollars more than it would hurt other areas where the illegals would basically take the place of the drop put American students.
I guess we agree to disagree
