found one in weston which is maybe 25 mins from here for $150 with 140k on it. Im gonna call them tomorrow and hopefully go pick it up this week! Ill keep this posted

Hm fun. The best one I found so far i think had 86k miles on it out of a 99 Grand Prix for the same price. But I don't think I'm gonna pick mine up til early next year.

By us she means me, as I'm the only one here at my house! lol And I guess I'm supposed to provide progress pics now too? ok................!

Here's progress! Her car and new/used transmission are in my garage, then I had to eat, drink beer and watch 7 hours of baseball! Ok, I think it's cooled off now, time to get to it! lol

Broken trans is out! I started at 1:30am and had it out at 6:30am. The dealer calls for 10.5 hours labor for this job, so I'm doing good so far. Time for a shower and some breakfast! Going to wash and wax my Quad Z26 this morning yet and meet up with snowblindburd afterwords to get some nice calendar shots! I will try to get back at the car early Saturday to put it back together, I'm estimating another 4-5 hours to finish it. She's not going to like the list I have of "other" things the car needs or will need that I have noticed so far, lol! Oh well.........

Man your slow... LOL, I had my trans out in about an hour the day I blew it up. Then again I can take that car apart with my eyes closed...

And yours isn't a rusted WI car either...

Indeed it is, and indeed it did! I think this car has seen at least 14 Wisconsin Winters and everything is a dirty greasy rusty mess! This is my first trans swap on a Beretta and first 4T60e swap. I decided to be nice and not crank up my air compressor or use air tools seeing as it was the very early AM hours, so using all hand tools took longer. Once the new trans is in, I'm going to drop the pan, replace the filter and gasket, swap out the modulator with the one from the old trans and put fluid in. Simple stuff, I'm just in no hurry. If I would have used air tools and nothing fought me, it would have taken a few hours less, lol! Winter Sux!

I guess I should update this again...
