Old thread, but I thought I'd share.
The guy who bought my old 93 GTZ did this very thing. He added red stripes on the d/s fender. Honestly, I don't think it looked too bad, but the fact that the car was already blue didn't hurt the whole GranSport thing.

Find something original or AT LEAST get the angle right!
I have to admit that over the years I have considered Z 28 type stripes, '74 rocker type stripes, Saleen type stripes and Ghost flames.
Hell why not a "Bumblebee Stripe"?
Could never bring myself to compromise the clean styling lines of the car for what it was.
But if you are going to copy a styling/graphics cue, at least do it right.

Find something original or AT LEAST get the angle right!
