To answer your question, Some 3.4 DOHC Z34's and GTP's came with Getrag 5 speeds known as the Getrag 284. Oh, and the Feretta engine is not based off a Northstar! Also, IMO, Northstras and DOHC 3400's are garbage. In my experience, when someone asks simple questions about difficult swaps, I can tell right off the bat that the are in WAY over there head! They will either never do it, or they will start on it and give up... It is what it is!
