Just paint or powdercoat them red and call it a day...

The Eibach's on my California Original Quad are BLACK. You can still read the name on them, FWIW!!

It ever accur to you that your "california origanal quad" aint so origanal with eibach springs. New paint. And a w41 cover? Plus arent the mirrors different as well? Oh im sure there has been other changes. Its a nice car for sure but by no means is it origanal or a factory car anymore.

The springs will be black - The only way to get 'em in red was to make at least 25 in red. LOL.

And I have EVERY original part to put it back to 100%.

Mirrors, Mint IDI cover, springs, struts, egg crate grille (painted to match the car), two sets of the nicest clear fillers on the planet, just not original paint. Sorry!

NO RUST! Never hit! 70,000 original miles!

Add to that OEM Euro Mirrors you will NEVER find!

Mint Euro tail lights. And the original ones of course in the closet here.

I also have a 1991 original mint dash I bought from Shane 6 years ago, and a set of 1991 damn near perfect GTZ front seats sitting here in bags in the closet.

The seats in my car are 90% all day!! I just have a bit of a fat ass so it's nice to have spares!

And the OEM AM/FM/CD 1991/92 correct Delco unit. $180 later it works perfect!

Speedy you don't have anything near this car, so just SHUT IT!!

so lets take a vote??? make a poll, its truly fair, and who knows, maybe 80% of us will vote red, would be different, and looks better imo then the factory black, because honesly black just looks factory under there.

wanna bet? my gtz might have more milage but its rust free, if i painted it and dropped the motor back in guess what, it would look just as dam good as yours! oh, how this might be a shock to you but yes, its true, you dont have the only nice gtz out there.

and no, its still not origanal, blab all you want but it isnt, you cant go to a car show and say "i have here an origanal beretta gtz" because you DONT. what you have is a beretta gtz with modified suspension, mirrors, and other stuff, its by no means origanal... if a guy owns a 67 shelby, but repaints it something other then the factory color, stuffs some lowering springs under it, puts an edelbrock intake on it with dual feed holly carbs, and a cowl hood rather then the shelby hood, can he say its origanal? i mean, hell, if the parts to it are in the closet surely it must be? NO you dam fool.

so you shut up!

:O:

oh, and if you'd like to continue this, please, by all means do it in the pm section, also, my gtz has a factory sunroof! :P

At the price we're getting these and as smoothly as this went let's not bother screwing it up. Black is just fine. As mentioned before, if you want them a different color take them somewhere and have them powdercoated whatever color you want when you receive them. Even if you pay to have them powdercoated you'll still come out cheaper than the old price of a set of these springs.

they have to powdercoat them anyways, why not take a vote? theyre willing to do 25 sets in red, or 25 sets in black, i say we take a vote and if red wins, get them in red! its the only fair option and a majority might say red. =D

Or since the group buy is over and Dante is submitting the info today, they will be black and the few that have spoken about wanting red can either rattle can them or pay to get them powdercoated.

If you wanted red, you should have spoke sooner and started a poll to see what the "majority" would have wanted as you said.

It's too late now as adding a polling option will just add an unnecessary time frame to the group buy.
