Its Duplicolor Engine Gray 500* paint... Its a somewhat industrial color I guess... I like it
It does look more blue in the pics though.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Yeah my 500* red paint has an orange tint in some pics. I've got to paint my trans before I throw it in and I'm thinking gray for that or the same "cast aluminum" I did the timing cover & oil pan.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Just finished up my new struts, mounts and insulators... car feels much better... at least for the 1 mile I took it for a ride. Fixed my alignment so now both sides are the same negative camber reading. Before one was -1* and the other was -0.5* so I put them both at -0.5*
On with the pics.
Old and busted

New hot chit

Old parts and new parts

Moog bump stop and bellows

Spring installed Upper insulator flat side facing strut flat side.

New upper with spacer. I did not use the metal spacer since I realized those are not included on the stock setup. I'm assuming that metal spacer was there only as a second option if you weren't going to use the angled one.

The old upper mounts are marked L and R for where the thick side of the spacer should be facing, But to simplify it, its thick side of the spacer faces inboard

Old 16 yr old mount

On with the pics.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
wow, damn, no love for the pink car.
Oh well.
Ordered up 24" 3an lines to replace my 16" ones to make it to the new nozzle, as well as a pressure gauge for the bottle... I hope to get all that in with the warmer before heading down to Pats wedding... I'd like to have it all in and tested just to be sure its solid... I don't need to run the spray quite yet tho

Sorry man. I have to wait like 15 minutes just to get your pics downloaded! Looks good!
(one reason why I try to keep mine a bit smaller res with a lower quality set)
Keep up the work man. Even my thread has had its dead spots, so no throwing that no love thing around, you know better.

This is a subject that makes me very angry and it would be wise to refrain from talking about it... haha3X00-Modified wrote:Did you get your headers yet?

Ok my bad... Was seriously curious about it though since I knew you were on the verge of hanging someone if they kept tugging you around.woody90gtz wrote:This is a subject that makes me very angry and it would be wise to refrain from talking about it... haha3X00-Modified wrote:Did you get your headers yet?
