Hell we had lots of time to put my tires on your car. DAMN IT!
OH YA. They won't fit over your fancy ass brakes, LOL!
And just remember its a lot easier to hack off time in the 14 sec realm than it is in the 13 sec realm... it takes an exponential growing amount of power to bring the times down the same.
Not really. I have in the works a plan to publish something that describes the use of "little people" and kites to reduce drag strip times. They are not only functional, but aerodynamic as well! Anyone care to help me test my hypothesis?

NO KIDDING!
I mean just how much do you think you can realistically wring out of 3.5 liters GM designed for 200 HP, still drive it whenever I want, get 24 mpg and it doesn't break stuff?
It's not a freaking Nissan/
There "may" be a 12.99 in there somewhere, but if ever it will be a one time thing in perfect conditions.
But then Rodney keeps saying he's not done with the tune yet. In fact in all fairness he really has had very little time with this thing. Hell he pulled a tenth out of it between rounds at Great Lakes!

Does RWD count? I'll be shooting for 12's as well with a 3500.

Holy crap Dave. You didn't elude to all of this exactly when we caught up at the v6z24 meet. I need to walk my dumb ass over to the 660 forum more often!

Have to admit Dave that is pretty impressive. Now can you make it run?
What does that puppy weigh? I gotta guess 3500#

It should definitely be under 3500.. Even a GTA didn't weigh that much.

Ya I guess you're right Cliff but it has to be 3200+ in full trim.

3rd-gens aren't too bad weight-wise. Not like my porky 2nd-gen anyway. With a GenIII v6 and not an old 8 it should be really light.

It would be even neater with a 5 speed behind it, but whatever. RWD and torque makes an auto enjoyable enough for me even.
If anyone can get that crazy confucktion of a 3500 to run, it's Dave. 275 whp in the Z24... that thing looks like a 300whp any day of the week machine now.
The allure of rwd has had me eyeballing MGs for a while now. I love the 660 platform, and in a tiny rwd car a bolt on 3500 with a cam would be Godzilla.
