We figured out the misfire and it runs smooth! Still a little bit of a throttle response issue but will see how it goes when I get the Cold Air Intake from Ryan this week... it sounds unbelievably good in this video!

It will look alot better once I get the center console and shift plate installed. The shifter will look more like a short shifter once that happens

Looks great! I love that shift-knob, BTW. The only problem is that the shift-pattern is wrong on it... :pardon: That would look right at home in my GTU though-I already have a black leather/red-stitch shift-knob that I put into the car back when I first did my 3800SC-swap, and I have been holding on to a brand new black suede/red-stitch shift-boot, but I haven't bothered putting it in since I don't have a red manual shift-plate for my console yet (older-style interior) and still have the black-console shift-plate with the all-black leather shift-boot from an Audi something-or-other (looks good, but not like your does :good: ) that is destined for my V-8 Teal Indy once I finally get that up and running (  ).

Keep up the good work, and please keep updating for us Beretta-addicts! :Bravo:

Yeah I know about the shift pattern. I have tried a few things but nothing will remove it so I am going to leave it like it is for a bit. When I get some extra money I will pick up a cheap knob same style as this to see if that top piece pops off or something.

I just wanted to have a factory Corvette boot and knob... Everybody keeps the stock square opening in the shift plate and I wanted to do something different.. so I went with the Corvette console piece also.

Here is a before and after of my center console.. I'm not sure which Beretta this console came out of but the grey carpet was shot. Dirty as hell. Since I am going with a black/grey two tone interior, I sent it to my buddy to have black carpet put on it. I might paint the whole console black (I would give about anything for a factory black 91 console lol)

I guess it might look a little odd putting the black carpet on this.. but I have factory black 91 carpet so it should match that pretty well.

Hey, I think that two-tone looks pretty good, actually. Umm, I put a black '91 center console into my '95 Z-26, it should still be in it... I didn't have the black console lid though, unfortunately, but if worse comes to worse, some day in the very far off distant future when I actually get to see that car again, I can shoot a pic or two of it and maybe we can talk...

I did the two tone before in my old beretta, just opposite... I had the vinyl painted black and all the carpet was still gray.

Actually the black/grey console looks better than I thought it would (minus my carpet needing vacuumed lol) The color difference isnt as bad as the pic shows, I had to use flash because the car is in the garage.

Then might as well throw a couple pics in of the shifter with the console installed..

Here is a rough fitting of the shift plate.. it needs CF installed after it gets some work and black base coat.

I also got the headlights and header panel cover on.. The headlights/grill need some more fitting

Image

Here is the only way you can tell anything has been done to the upper radiator support.. I will be throwing some black paint on this soon..

Image

Next is getting the poly bushings in the dogbone mount and painting the dogbone black so it doesnt stick out in the engine bay like it does now..

Yeah a little paint and that will look stock. The only thing that gives it away is the rivets. With that mount I'd say it's really a good idea to renforce the support.
