Re: A thread about my real 93 GT.
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I bought my Camaro from my 5th-cousin or something. (Didnt know it until I told my father who I bought it from.) But I've been itching to show it to him now.

I still have the name and number of the guy I got my Z26 from...
Kurt, I love your car. It's gone through some interesting changes over the years (haven't all of ours at some point?).

Stop making me want to swap a 5 speed into my rust pile lol!
I love the story behind the car, Kurt, as well as everything you've done to it. Thanks for this thread!

Re: A thread about my real 93 GT.
Some freshness after scoring 3rd in class at a recent show. Interesting thing is that we got stuck in the 1970+ Street Machine category. 1972 big block Chevelle won the class, with a nice mouse motor 70 Nova taking 2nd. Somehow I beat out a Challenger with a 340 6pack. Guess the plaques and mod sheet worked.

A funny thing about this photo, if you look through the blue canopy you can barely see a newer style silver Mustang GT, modded by NQS Performance in the back background. I smoked that thing at an autocross on a half mile road-course like 3 weeks after my swap was on the road back in 2009. hahahahaha. Actually whipped every pile of Mustang ass that was on street tires that day.

I'm going to take a trip to the strip for the v6z24 bash on the 19th of this month. Hoping to smash the 14.85@92.59... I know my old wheel bearings were already going out at that time, and it was causing wheel hop. Now the car just spins if I launch too hard, hoping that holds true at the track and I can air the Azenis' down and giver hell. 14.699 would be the ideal at the moment I think.
edit for the mini story above:
41 pwnz joo.

Kris, I'd be interested in those parts for sure. I'm always worried that my rowdy driving is going to leave me with a dominated side skirt and a half naked GT one day.
Not sure if Dustin is going or not. Chad, you definitely should!

Re: A thread about my real 93 GT.
Finally started buying parts again for this beast. Oddly enough, they are suspension parts... For the front end.
Interesting!

You and me both... I may have to postpone that until the house situation changes (which I'm working on right now, hopefully it works out soon).3X00-Modified wrote:I gotta stop buying computer parts and buy my god damn Koni's that I want... I have a set of dead strut housings waiting for them...
