there was only a couple pieces of of this stuff on the pump screen. my oil pressure is a little funny lately but i also havent been driving it much in the last couple weeks, actually just took it for a spin tonight around and burn 1/4 tank of gas just so it could run a little. been driving the 96 for a couple weeks now.

im not sure what that crap could be.. maybe off the sides of the intake gaskets or something.. im pretty positive it was plastic and was black in colour. there is absolutely no noises from the engine what so ever and it runs very smooth. so i cant see it being something drastic thats going to make my engine die right away. it wont be much longer before i get that 3.1 turbo engine up here and start building it hopefully have it in the car before August. so im not really worried about this one crapping out. if it blows up so what, if i dont get the other engine right away and it does go and i absolutely need to drive it ill find a cheap motor and swap it in over night to make due no big deal.

A few people thought it was my bearings but i just wanted to clear that part up that its defiantly not metal pieces.

As long as you have other wheels, I just hate blowing up an engine more than a mile from home, regardless of whether or not I plan to swap it haha.

for all i know those chunks of crap could have been there for the last 15 years who knows... maybe the dude who swapped out the 2.8 to the 3.1 in my cavy donor car used the pan from the blown 2.8 and never cleaned it out good. who knows. but it runs very well, if it were making knocking and ticking and clunking noises i would be more worried
