Absolutely badass. Looks great man. Leave it spoiler-less. Gives it a clean, "tough" look with the GTU body kit in place. Car looks fabulous! Great work!

haha you should have seen my car before i got rid of it. damn thing ate my jackstand. took me like an hour to find a solid spot to jack up the car so i could get it back. i think i only had to drill out one or two rivets to get the gfx mounts off, most of it pried off with ease.3X00-Modified wrote:You should see the underside of a NE car... LOL I can fist my rocker... With the door open its like flinstones, I can see the ground through the rot hole in the rocker area.
Baims the night shots look awesome and the color looks good.

Re: My 1994 DGGM Base - 57k Miles - DGGMGTU?
Time for an update and some additional pictures.
I ended up deciding on going with the spoiler install - as much as I like the clean look, I couldn't resist. The mock-up went well and it mounted up as well as I could have envisioned.

Next mod: fixing the damn B-pillar covers that fade because of the plastic they are made out of!
Next to another "INDY" conversion car:

I also stumbled into a set of teal INDY seats at a local junkyard. I was in a hurry and the yard was close to closing the Friday I saw them....and then I couldn't stop thinking about them all weekend. I hated the thought of them going to the crusher in as decent of shape they were still in....plus, I thought it might be interesting to see what they'd end up looking like in the '94.

All in all I'd say I'm a fan - the teal definitely does not match the exterior color of the car, but goes better than you think it would. I'd like to get them re-upholstered at some point in the future - they could still use a bit more cleaning too. (Never satisfied!
)
And yes....only the rear is lowered right now. I still need to tend to the front (happening soon!)
As always, feedback welcome!

You're car is putting off too much glare! lol :p
I had to find something negative to say... er was that even negative?
Cool cool and that interior looks good too. Any plans for tinting the windows?

Oh and why do you gotta park near that ricer with the cheap brakes and horrible black paint job?

Looks great Baims - thanks for sharing the pics - I was wondering what you ended up doing. I gotta see both those rides in person now!

(only kidding, the 94 has zero testicles compared to Kurt's 93 GT....once I get the 91 boosted though...watch out!

You guys rock! Glad to see people are still a fan of the 'clean' factory look!

Actually...believe it or not, they are very mildly tinted. It's something like 35-50% all the way around, except for the front windshield. Subtle enough I've never been bothered by it, but I'm hesitant to go any darker with it....especially with the way cops in Iowa are.1988GTU wrote:You're car is putting off too much glare! lol :p

Umm....hopefully it won't be true again this year.

All you need on the pillers is old metal ones in good shape. I'm not sure why they went with ABS. The paint always falls off. Damn things may even flap on the highway.
Oh yes, I love how clean this car looks and the color too!
