Re: Beretta Z28
Front frame rails tied back in to the rad support and bumper rails. And was able to preserve the stock location for the coolent overflow / battery tray and KN air filter !!!!

Re: Beretta Z28
Did you cut off 2" of the Camaro frame - then weld those 2" back on and plate in the difference between the Beretta core support and the Camaro frame rails?
If so - good thing you kept the Camaro frame chunks around to weld back on.
It sucks working on a project - throwing something out and having to either fab or buy new again!

Re: Beretta Z28
Yeah .....I over cut the rails in order to properly position the body fornt to back and make sure the wheel wells were centered over the tires.....it would have been too hard to know exactly where to cut everything and have it all line up which is why I'm now doing all this tedious patch work now......I knew I would need these
Re: Beretta Z28
so you've decided to build me one using a LSX with 6 speed, couple of snails inhaling juice??!jjanke wrote:The next one I will know a lot more about where to cut !!! Hahaha

Re: Beretta Z28
removing the EGR and AIR systems from the LT1. Ordered some fuel rail covers and some other lil things that should really help clean up the look of the engine
Re: Beretta Z28
I think I may have finally finished all the metal work on the front firewall to cowl and strut towers to inner fenders......engine bay is ready for seem sealer and paint then gotta get the LT1 back in there
