Did he have to have the ends or did they have them?

I think they are new as he doesn't require a core on them. Check out his site.

Humm I wonder if they do fit our cars. I Need to get mine to my house so I can take a really good look at them. Maybe I can get them for cheaper. Also got to think of mounting. But I think I could make little mounts with no problem. This might be what we need. Any of the Beretta gods agree?

Heck, if anyone is in his area (Caledonia, WI) maybe they could do a compare right there. I don't have any spares sitting around... He's only about an hour or so from me.

Im sure if he knew how many people need these cables and how much biz he could get I think he would at least let one person do a return.

I don't have the cables I bought yet but I plan on going to my garage and taking out my old one and going to that shop after I shower and eat today.

Well I took my old cables off. (91 manual Iz tranny) and went to Inland and they don't have the ends. But if they said they might be able to use old ends. SOOOOO.
It looks like the ends are about 0.250in on the shift and the tranny. In my case on my tranny I had a 0.250in and a 0.316in +/- 0.005in.

I was also looking at the Rodney Dickman's cables.

The tranny side of the shift cable looks different.

But since that pin can be removed and that ball joint put in I see no problem. Just as long as the bolt is not to big then drilling will need to be done.
Now the shifter side I see there is a problem.

Not the greatest picture but on the shifter their is no nut on the back side. That is just a note. But also the cable has no bushing in it. So something would have to be done with that. Has anyone try to contact him for a cable and asked him about our problem. I will, but will not order a set due to me having one already.

Well again I was shot down. I guess its not so much the ends that are hard to get its the hold downs that are. I'm going to look into Dickman's Cables or maybe Napa. Sounds like we will have to do some custom work to get shift cables guys.
