Re: New addition to the Fam Damily - '92 SCX
I remember when I bought my car and look under it and laughed at the sight of one end link missing. Just waiting for the GF's to fall off(lol). Nah, they don't look that bad. Just some plastic came off the bushings. Never knew they had that, must be some sort of 1997 thing.
keep'em flying!

I love having FE7 suspension for this reasonSuzukiGhostRider wrote:To be truthful, the SCX links ride too close to the CV boot for my comfort too.Barry wrote:At least yours just fell off. I had one of the effers break and bend its way on top of my axle, ripping the inner boot to crap

Re: New addition to the Fam Damily - '92 SCX
Brand new rotors and pads today. I went to order the drilled and slotted rotors on sale at summit for $50 for the pair and they were out of driver's side, so crap.... I slacked too long.... Anyhow the new ones are good. So are the pads. YAY for no more brake chatter or steering wheel shudder when stopping. Slides look like they hadn't seen grease since 1992, so I worked grease into them until they slid nice and free.
Tomorrow, I should get to a full , first time for me on this one, detail. Moar pics! Tomorrow.

Gave it a light detail today. Enjoy. It still needs paint on , but at least it looks 1000 times better!

Haven't fixed it yet, but the way I fixed it on the '93 SCX I had was some adhesive and a few real good heavy phone books until it dried.
