I think the ac delete needs to be for a beretta. But jon would know better because he figured mine out for me.Yeah im lucky i swapped to OBD2 and jon does all my tuning. But there is a guy on 60 degree and v6z24.com.His user name is superdave im sure he could tune the car for you.

If you're going to do true duals you should definitely have an x-pipe. Merging both banks gives you better low-midrange power than divorced banks because of the scavenging. A Y-pipe with single 2.5" would be just as good though and less trouble.
With the cam, I would shy away from doing anything too serious without planning on tuning it yourself...which is an artform in itself.

Also if doing a cam there is no need to upgrade rockers. I'm still running the stock 04+ ones and also stock retainers and locks on my valve springs.

Pulled the engine out today, well almost anyway... It was coming out until the exhaust got snagged on something and I had to go to work and didn't have time to mess with it. That damn pipe that is between the exhaust manifold and the downpipe is what is getting stuck, I thought I'd be able to get the whole package out with that still on the motor, it was kinda a pita to try and get it off when it was still in the car.
Oh and here's a good one, drained the 5 speed trans to find what look and smells like ATF... what a genious this guy was that had it before me was, unless there's some kind of manual trans fluid that is much like ATF... Found that all the sway bar bushings and such are rotten and dryrotted, looks like I'll be putting a poly set on this car.
Question; on the lower dogbone engine mount, has anyone made anything comparable to the Fast forward performance billet dog bone mount? I have one and thought oh well I can use that for this, but it's not the same, one sides insert is vertical vs. horizontal. Is anyone making billet/poly mounts for our cars??

some manuals take atf as the fluid.
as for the engine clearance, i pulled mine out with that exhaust piece on. it was tricky but it came out.

Yeah man no ATF should be in the trans.Use synchromesh either pennzoil or GM only.I've used both and they work well.I have the lower dogbone mount from MRZ performance think it was 90 100 dollars.

Some manual trans do use ATF like my 6spd...but a Getrag definitely does not. GM Syncromesh is the ticket. Summit sells it cheaper than GM.
Does MRZ make the 5spd dogbone? I got mine used from Boner. If you get a bracket and a 92-93 pass control arm you can run both the engine and trans dog bones.

Found a link:

This is the trans dogbone and not the engine dogbone.

Yeah eric MRZ performance has a dogbone mount to replace the lower trans mount. There isn't a mount on the older berettas like yours under the motor mount. And i already told him to use Gm or pennzoil

Yeah, I found the MRZ one. But you can add that mount to any car pretty easily. You just need a 92-93 subframe and the steel bracket that bolts to the engine. My 91 didnt have it from the factory, but now it has both poly dogbones, the poly upper trans mount and poly upper engine mount.
How much is the Pennzoil Syncromesh? I've never seen it for sale anywhere. Is it cheaper than GM?

Not sure how much cheaper but it does cost less money.
Jon picked some up when he had my jackshaft apart.
Seems just as good as GM and is designed for the trans.

Finally got the motor out today (in the rain I might add...). The damn thing was snagging on the AC compressor, for some reason I thought that would clear... Now all I gotta do is just order the parts and put everything together.
I think I decided I'm just gonna put the upper intake gaskets on after I rewire the injectors, those damn lower gaskets are expensive, by the time they fail, IF they fail I'll be ready to pull the motor again to build the whole thing all the way... This is a budget build so I see it as a waste to spend $100 on head gaskets and intake gaskets when it'll just be done all over again anyway.
Beyond that does anyone know anything about these radiators? I found this on ebay and new at $51 and free shipping you can't beat that... just wondering if these radiators are worth a crap...
