He said in a previous post that they are always dinged up, I don't really get it.

Been driving the heck out of her lately. Been driving with the tuners around Omaha on friday nights lately. We were doing about 100+ avg. last friday. Too fast for my front passenger tire as it broke a belt in the middle. The car has pulled to the right since i bought it and after i took it down to the tire shop to have them throw a used tire on it i drove home and the car didnt pull anymore so the old tire just wasnt balanced or something. Pretty happy the belt broke. Also got my headlights installed. Still waiting on my rear filler panel from Brett! Cant wait to get that.

Stop being stupid... You got lucky this time but maybe it's a way of showing you what could happen and to know that next time you may not get so lucky and you could kill yourself or worse kill someone else by driving that way.Gtzman wrote:Been driving the heck out of her lately. I know, was in the moment. But no offense i dont need advice how to live my life and on how to drive my car. I was just pointing out that i dont have to work on my front end as soon as i thought. Thats the only reason i put the story up. Dont tell me you have never done it. How do you know your Legacy is fast?

So did you have any tread shift before that?
Really it's more of a belt shift, but it can be seen by looking at the tread.
When it gets too bad all of the center of the tire will fly off. Almost like a loss of a retread on a Simi.

Don't post information about you going 100mph on public roads... THAT'S more of my point.Gtzman wrote:I know, was in the moment. If you desire to be an idiot and put your life as well as anyone else around you at risk I can't stop that, BUT if you post about it on a public forum I'm going to call you out on that and call you an Idiot for doing so and loose quite a bit of respect for much else you will have to say.
The "Street Racing" tag on the Drag Racing section was removed from here a long time ago for that exact reason. We don't ever want to be found somehow liable for you doing stupid stuff in your Beretta.
And I know my Legacy is "fast" because its pushing 19PSI of boost and probably around 250-275 AWHP... I don't have to go 100mph on the street to know it's capable of it, it's just kinda obvious.

I'm not here to argue with anyone about my bad decision making or their judgement on said decision making, but thanks for your input.
Back on topic very happy that my front end was just a $40 tire fix.

Welcome to posting on a public forum... That's what happens, especially with a topic such as that.
