Thanks. Still need to work on em a bit more. Can't wait to throw some HIDs in.
Re: Gtzman's Gtz project/daily
Bought a 97 Cavalier Z24 with the 2.4 Twin Cam for cheap had been in a wreck thought i could fix it but i decided to just pull the MSD coil packs and throttle body spacer. Put the coil packs on real quick and put em where the intake was. Finally got the time to pull the cruise control and put the coil packs there instead and put my intake back on. Still runs the same just looks nice gunna paint it blue here soon. Few other little things i wanna do still: Short throw shifter, paint soon, tires, and my new filler panel on. Also put in a new radiator in a few weeks ago. Easy as pie lol

This is what it looks like. Dont know much about it. Came off a 2.3 intake that was on a 2.4 Twin Cam.

Looks like someone put alot of work into that, but it's not good for flow. You could take the twist out and still use it. It would add a small amount of plemum volume. Swril is only good near the injectors(before and after).
There is not much room in there, how did you get the intake tube on there?

Yeah ill prob put it on for the hell of it. The intake is the one from autozone. I moved the battery over a little bit and that helped other than that just a few right twists and it went on.

I sure do like the Quad intake(that is if the runners are right for the firing order), but it sure makes it hard to get a good intake on there. A long bend 90* would be the best, but there is no way to use one.
If you find the time grind out those twists someday and match it to the intake and TB. You can put it on for the hell of it, I bet that it won't stay on for long though.

I definatly gotta get the battery in the trunk if I put it on. Because I won't have any room for my intake.
