Is there a how to thread for replacing this part?

Specifically, how to support the engines weight?

The torque strut is not a weight-bearing mount. The upper engine mount by the coolant overflow tank is. You can put a 2x4 block on your jack and support your engine by the oil pan (gently) but it shouldn't droop for replacing that torque strut.

It's 2 bolts that hold the torque strut in place. You may have to remove the plastic splash shield if it's still there.

Thanks.

I wasn't sure if placing the engine weight on the oil pan was a good idea. So, if I also need to replace the upper mount, the oil pan is ok to hold the weight?

I replaced the upper less than 20K miles ago but I feel the car lift and pull to the left on acceleration.
