calgary
Re: calgary
Wow, i remember when this place was jumping back in the day. (I'm getting old). Not to many people out there have these cars or the ones that do dont really care. It's just a car to them.
It's almost sad in a way to come back years later and everyone's gone. Life goes on I guess.

Hey Mike!!! Been a long time. 10 years!!!. Crazy. I bought a red z-26 initially then found a white one with only 60,000 miles on it with one owner. Naturally I had to buy it also.4DoorGTZ wrote:Holy crap, Ron is back.... and I just re-found this new concoction of beretta.net

Re: calgary
Any interest in the very near future in buying my 96 3400 Z26? I wont lie, its rusty and i havent done much of anything with it for a long time. Had it for 6yrs and put on 21k miles (American Import) It currently sits on well worn winter tires on 14" wheels and is a mess. I'll clean my crap out of it but not looking to dress it up.
Buying something new(er) and dont have room for it anymore, for the right people its VERY cheap..... otherwise it may end up with the Kidney foundation.
EDIT, must have been too good of a deal, Chris has bitten, consider it SOLD.

Re: calgary
I live here in Calgary. Been here for about 3.5 years. Moved here from MB and my now wife and I bought a 95 Base 3100 for $1400 just after we moved here and 'Loretta' has been very good to us. Only had a few minor issues with it but she's rolling up on 300K and the tranny's giving me issues as well as brakes are acting up and a few other little 'gremlins'. I picked up a 92 GT 3.1 for $300 on Tuesday with 156K. Very clean car just won't start. It cranks over, can hear the fuel pump energizing, just no fire. The guy I bought it off of killed the battery trying to get it to start so the only code I can pull is the Code 12 to start the diagnostic. Been doing some research on here so I'm gonna check out the ICM and CPS tomorrow while I'm on days off and hopefully get that one going so the wife has another reliable car or tackle the brake issue with Loretta. If any of you Calgary folk are around and would be interested in helping out a guy who's not too familiar with all this electronic engine stuff (my other toy is a 77' Mustang II) this weekend, I'd surely appreciate someone's eyes who knows what they're doing and I'm sure I'd have a case of cold ones in the fridge as well
Looking forward to getting some more research and info from this site. Wouldn't mind doing some upgrades to the 'Rettas so the wife can have a lil fun too

Re: calgary
Yeah I got it going, turned out to be a bad CPS....got that replaced and did the brakes all around...waiting on my special wheel key to come in so i can get the rear wheels pulled and get the wheel cylinders swapped out....hope to have it on the road in the next week or so as my 95 Base 3100 is slowly on its way out and I wanna get my Mustang II back in the garage and get working on it . If you ever wanna pop by for a beer and check em out...shoot me a message...I'm up in Bowness...
