I went to my GM dealer to get some part numbers for FE3 springs for the 95. They gave me a list of three for the front and one for the rear.
22077096 w/hd $97.52
22077145 $74.60
22077147 $117.78
For the rear 22132476 $119.78
Vintage is the only place that I can get them at.
What one would be the best to use?
Keep in mind that my girlfriend said that the use of Eibachs will not happen because of the way they ride on the Cav. My stock springs have 150k on them, so I'd say that anything would be better. I'm not sure what I have stock. I will post a pic of my spare cover tag.

Go over to Bstuff and download the factory spring rate charts I have posted there. Find you original ones via your option label spring codes, then by gauging where they are within the spring rate range, you can judge for yourself which of the OE replacements might work best as replacement. Or, you could choose a few by spring rate code and head off to the JY and start searching. That would certainly be lot cheaper than Vintage. For what you'll pay at Vintage you could buy another entire car with the springs you want.

My car is actually not that stiff and its a KYB Eibach combo. Granted they have less than 10k on them right now.

You guys are funny. Lets put it this way... she had to go through all the crap that the 90GT had wrong and never said "why don't you get a good car". Now I have started all over with the 95 and yet she supports me. Hell she even likes Berettas. Why would I get rid of someone like that? Though she did shoot down the idea of getting a WRX because it was ugly(now she likes them) and I'm stuck with the Cav. She also never said anything when I spent two years on the 67 Camaro.
Well the real point is that I'm getting old and would like my car to hit the corners well and have a good ride. I would also like to keep the cost of replacement shocks down.

3X00 how's the ride? Is it good enough for a DD car? My mind is still open on this, but the ride must be good. I've had enough of bumping and banging around. I drove the Cav for 10k like that and now the J Body guys tell me that GR2 are not for lowered cars. I don't think that's right, I think it's more the fact that the Cav has much less weight.

Eibachs or you're a WUSS!

Yeah my ride is fine... I had the car out a lot recently a couple days back and forth to work, and Its miles over my old red car and sometime as smooth as the Legacy... BUT not as bouncy as that. I think I have bad shocks in the rear of the Leggy.

Either way yeah you can easily deal with a good set of KYB's all around and Eibach's As long as the rest of the car is solid... That is something I should point out. I think a lot of my noise and roughness in the red car came from the fact that it was loosing its stiffness from the entire sub frame rusting out, that lead to a noisier ride, also the springs were much older.

Also the Eibach and KYB combo is quite cheap in comparison to some stuff out there for other cars, and honestly that is the best parts available without customization for our cars. Plus the drop is there, but subtle and not obnoxiously low. As far as the GR2 comment goes... They are valved stiffer than a stock Monroe strut and they are as stiff as you can buy for our cars without cutting the strut up and using a J-body insert of some sort. I have the GR2's up front and the Gas-A-Just in the rear.

And for reference I bought my Eibach's and struts and shocks from E-bay... so you can find them for cheaper than online performance stores.

I agree with Jon. I've got the Eibach/KYB combo, and it handles pretty well and It's good on the street. You will be feeling road imperfections a bit more, but not so much that'll it snap your back. Bilsteins will do that. lol My car rides pretty good and I run in the potholed streets of L.A. but then I'm also running 15 inch wheels on it so that softens up the blow a little.

Thanks for the input Wanko. I'm running 15's myself and just had to buy new tires. I really want to get some 16's down the road. I haven't been to LA in about 15 years, so I don't know how bad the pot holes are. They can be somewhat bad here do to ice and snow(also the change from hot to cold). It can go from 110F to -10F over the year.

Mines not all that bad and I roll 17's...
