i went out to install it on my car but there is no way it is gonna fit down the factory intake hole to go to the fender well. the battery is in the way. am i supposed to to move my battery or is it supposed to route somewhere else? unless i have the wrong kit, my car is 95 Z. can someone help me out here?

Sounds like you have the pipes in the wrong order.

Here's mine before the OBDII conversion:

Optima batteries have much less of a corner there, with a square battery you need to loosen the tray bolts and attempt to rotate the battery as much as possible, if not remove one of the bolts to allow it.

I had the same trouble. I had to slide the battery tray over to get it past. I think I had to cut the tray around the bolts a little to slide it over.

Let me know if you continue to have issues. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember selling you a kit recently.

U didn't sell it to me. U sold it to Ettore Casagrande. And I bought his car and he gave me everything he had for it for $300.

I wish I had the forethought to to take pics of what was done. I kicked out the back some. It's still very tight, but also acts as a support. I was not too worried about it touching because of the solid lower trans mount (dogbone) that I have.

Oddly enough I found that my stock IAT sensor was too small and went with an old one from my 90GT. It stays put much better, but I think my wiring was shorted at the factory. Everthing on that loom has been tight even before I started messing with this car. Hell the injector harness is way too tight also. Everything else is normal, with tons of extra.

Yes, a bit of battery relocation is necessary in most cases. As Jon said, especially for square ended batteries like mine. Man, I need to rework that intake. Think I'm gonna start by getting rid of those horrible blue couplers lol. Then a new battery.

COOL.

Nice engine bay snowblind. Should have put some paint on the TB linkage, looks out of place.

I'm putting a 65mm TB on this spring, so I didn't think it was necessary at this time lol.

I see your point, but wait....you are still going to have to swap the linkage right?
