whats the question? that looks like a getrag 282 external slave to me.

It looks similar, but it is definitely different than my 90-91 external slave.

To replace one like mine, you just need to push out the roll pin holding the clutch line in the slave and swap the new one in. (Pre-fill it with fluid first.) Then unhook the clutch pedal from the master cylinder rod and slowly pump the slave rod (point slave rod down and line connection up to release air bubbles). Make sure the reservoir cap is off and the reservoir stays full. Add fluid if needed if the level drops while bleeding.

Yes thats the same slave cylinder thats in my 88 2.8 -- The plastic tie will break loose after first clutch pedal push

I don't think your supposed to leave that plastic tie on it when you install it.... but maybe thats just my opinion.

objective: to remove the tube that fits to the cylinder ... and the Press in new cylinder. how to do it? I'm afraid to break something.
