Re: 1990 Beretta fuel pump ground location?
Nevermind, I figured out the problem. The pump seems frozen because power does go to the pump and I even tried giving it power to the pump directly and you barely hear anything. Piece of junk Herko fuel pump.

1990 Beretta fuel pump ground location?
Haven't touched my car in 3 years and wanted to get it running again, but when I go try to start it I don't hear the fuel pump engaging. I checked the fuse and it's OK and the relay does click so I wanna see where the ground location is for the pump before I drop the tank and check the wires going t...

90 Beretta 3.1 to 3400 motor mount
The engine doesn't sound good on my Retta and looking into the idea of getting a 3100 or 3400 motor swap in it. Plan to keep the transmission that came with it cause it still works. Might as well add more power right? But I know you need to get a custom motor mount for this. Where can I get one of t...

Beretta spoiler broke in half
Someone gave my car a push in the snow and snapped the spoiler in half. Now I can't find one. What spoilers fit the Beretta if anyone knows? Like would a Z24 spoiler fit or some aftermarket? Something that covers the holes that also work the third brake light.

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
Just got the new fan switch and it works fine. It works no different than disconnecting the thing to begin with, but at least it's there. Not sure what the purpose is to not have the fan running when the A/C is on? I was able to get a AC Delco fan switch for $10 off Ebay. It was called "SWITCH ...

Re: Installation of Intermediate Pipe
I dropped the shocks in the read and was barely able to get the pipe in. Of course the springs fell out, but that's no problem cause I know how to put them back in. The real trick is to get the pipe in without the jack being in the way. Needed a heavy duty large floor jack to hold up the rear tempor...

Re: Bouncing Idle that won't go away
Just to remind people, my car hasn't ran better. Can't believe it was that vacuum line the whole time.

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
I don't know if I like the idea of just leaving it disconnected. Kinda hard to find replacements for them. Would these replace both or am I looking at the same parts? Rockauto only lists one a/c pressure switch with the part code 22599559. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171396952503?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:I...

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
Ok Cliff8928, I disconnected one of the two pressure switches and the fan comes on and the other does stop the compressor. So i'm guessing one is the low pressure and the other is the high pressure? I should probably change both, but are they both removable?

Re: Bouncing Idle that won't go away
Think I found the problem. There was a vacuum line that ran under the coolant tank to I think the charcoal canister? I couldn't keep it in there so I used a spring clamp to hold it on.

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
Pressure sensor engages the fan. If you have TWO sensors on the high-pressure line you can disconnect one of them and the fan will turn on. If you disconnect the wrong one the compressor will disengage. I'll give it a try and report back. BTW was on highway and AC works fine, so long as there's air...

Re: Bouncing Idle that won't go away
My daughter had a 90 GT that stayed at a high idle. It turned out to be corrosion on the ECM pins and connector due to the firewall leak on the passenger side. The IAC has two wires that open it and two that close it. It would open but not close because of the corrosion. So check out the connector ...

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
Did you evacuate the system after you opened it up to replace the condenser? If not, you may have moisture that froze and plugged the system causing it not to take more freon. It should take 80% of what it calls for an R-12 charge. Just a guess, you may be low on freon but the high side goes too hi...

Re: Bouncing Idle that won't go away
I've changed the PCV and the tube to it. The TPS was changed maybe 5+ years ago with standard. I've tried other Ebay brands but they broke within 2 weeks and ended up going back to this stardard TPS. Any brand TPS anyone can recommend?

Re: Radiator fan won't come on with AC
Before I changed the condenser, the compressor wouldn't stay working unless the car moved. When the car stood still it would click on and off. It just happened that all the freon leaked out through the condenser. I didn't think to check the fan until after I changed the compressor and was glad to se...
