I lloked up fiberglass repairs at Autozone, there is a self adhesive patch, is that what you mean? Would I put fiberglass or bondo over it?

Riveting was my second choice, it is solid plastic? Part of the bumper around the fog light was scraped off, and it looks like the core is something like cardboard.

I cracked my bumper on the passenger side. The crack goes from the bottom corner, straight up, almost up to the seam, where the regular bumper starts. I found the problem, there is a spring lever behind the SIR ring, which contacts the lock ring, this spring was not making contact.
