About the vibration and noise, I too had shudder at 55, a noise when I turned, coming from under the car, and sometimes accelerating from a stop. It was a tranny mount. I had my car inspected (PA state law) and the shocks and struts passed, but when I replaced the shocks for a finer ride, they turned out to be shot!  I had someone replace my struts, in a 94 it is a lot of work, maybe you can replace the top bushings?
I replaced my rear brake shoes and had the same grab, same wheel, I had my drums turned and it went away

if the car shakes decently at >40mph it is most likely the tie rod ends [steering ball joints].  They just have some slop in them.  It could be a number of other things, but tie rod ends are usually the culprit on that problem.

The shaking is the primary problem as it could also be a lower ball joint and failure of that is often lethal at speed as your tire flies off the driveshaft and one side of the car grabs the pavement.  So check the lower ball joint as well (jack car into air, try to move wheel up and down, ANY movement is a BAD thing.)

for the misfire, you have ruled out the electrical almost completely.  Have you tried disconnecting wires as the engine runs?  If a wire or wires do not cause a change then that cylinder is either not getting spark, fuel, or has a bad piston/valves.

If you hog the gas the car will shift hard, but if you are getting hard shifts other than then it is either the fluid level, filter, or a failure of a clutch pack.  Check the fluid and do a change on the filter if you can first and see if it fixes the shifting.

Drum brakes are also nutorious for causing problems when out of round.  Always mic them for roundness and bellmouthing if you can.  They can certainly cause the car to "squat" when you apply them in drive and rise when backing up.  lift the rear of the car and spin the wheel, any spots where it grabs?  Apply the parking brake a click at a time and check for grab again, there should be no point wher it "grabs" then releases until the brake is fully applied.
