shift cable questions... need to know ASAP!! please.

im not sure what the length of our shift cables are, but i found 2 pairs and before i pull them, i want to know if they will work in our cars, 1 pair was a bushing style, orange cables, in a sunbird, it was a 93 i believe. then there was a pair in a 91 grand am, i know in the 92+ grand ams theyre a tad to short and the shifter wont move after instalation. so does anyone know if either of these will work? as far as i know, beretta cables are longer then all the other cables...
