I always wear it, except the Beretta. It was such a pain in the ass with that adjustment bar on it I didnt wear it for short trips (like my 1mi commute to work). My 95 was a pain too...the 90 black seatbelts I put in it mounted just like factory, but rubbed the lower part of the door panel. So they pulled out easily, but had to be fed back in by hand because there was just enough friction to keep the spring from retracting it automatically.

I thought about selling the black 91 belts, but they are a little faded & frayed...and I wouldn't wish them on anyone. I do have the Monte Carlo belts for sale though. They are nice & smooth like the Cobalt belts.

Is that the drain pipe for the sunroof that goes in front of the lower mounts for the seat belt there?

Yup. I plan on installing the carpet tonight and doing the little trim work needed by the back seat. If all goes well I may be posting some finished pics. Well, except for the shift & ebrake boots. I haven't received them from Softtrim yet.

I'm curious how those look and install... especially for the e-brake. Damn melted plastic pins!

Thats dumb... It took me one hit to a windshield with my head and now I wear a belt no matter what and actually feel like I'm giong to fall out of my seat if it's not on. I hope you don't have to learn the same way.
I never wore my seatbelt, and then on my way to the park one day I decided I was sliding around too much in my leather seats so I threw it on.

5 min later my G6 had 10k damage and I had serious belt rash...

Yeah, the leather should tie it all together nicely. The rubber accordians look gay...especially with the leather shift & ebrake knobs I have.

Trimmed the carpet and got it all assembled. I really like it. Front and rear are both really comfortable.

The rear seat back is about 2" taller than the deck...so it's the same as the stock Z seats. I looked in the mirror and can still see the spoiler out the back window, so it doesn't obstruct any view either.

I also cut my shifter and offset it back to about stock. When I shortened it, it moved the knob over 1/2" or so, so now it will be centered in the console better.

They are a bitch to install. But I really like the look. Still looks like it could be OEM...which is kinda the theme I'm going for on this car.

Got the leather shift boot from George Paul and it fits nice. The ebrake boot doesn't fit yet, but he expected it to take 2-3 tries to get it right.

Got my shock plates back from the laser at the local fab shop. They fit perfect...I love CAD. haha Got them bolted in and working on the crossbar now.

Also got some pics of the leather boots. As you can see the ebrake one isn't right yet, but George is working on a revision. Gonna do a shorter version of the shift boot too since it's a little long.

Got the shock bar done. Heavier duty and more clearance than the last bar I had in there. Should have painted it red though! haha
