cruise control does not work

Post by michi »

So guys my cruise controle isnt working at all so i want to fix this now. I already checked all vaccum lines and theyre all good. I also checked the fuse and throttle linkage on the cruise controle "servo". So what do you think what part causes this fail? The cruise control modul maybe? doesnt seems like there are much options... the modul or the servo...?
Also, i thought about i should check for power on the connector of the cruise servo but i dont know if there is always power or just when going above 60kmh so the cruise control would work? As i know they work right at 60kmh, thats where it worked on my GTZ.

Cruise control is run off of vacuum. Check the lines and make sure they're still connected.

my cruise quit working too, actually only thing that doesn't work on my car. a 95 Z26 but my car was made in 94.i have the electronic version,no vaccuum system on mine.
I also changed out the turn signal lever/switch did not help at all. maybe i replaced with a bad switch from yard.or the cruise/brake switch is not adjusted correctly or shot.or module itself.has me stumped also.

also my ABS light is on because of rear brakelines need to be replaced, only have front brakes until i can find someone to bubble flair my replacement lines without breaking the bank.can a ABS light on,cause a cruise control not to function correctly?
