Yep. Lots of ugly. First couple pics are the new exhaust tip though. And the last few show the extensiveness of the rust underneath, and how much the door drops, etc... Not pretty.

So yeah, not really something I can fix this time. Not going to try to fix all that either. Will let you all know when it goes up for sale as a parts car or parted.

For now, its still the DD.

DTMAce wrote: First off, here is a video of the current condition of the vehicle:

http://youtu.be/SxCe3dVpzuk

Why its being parted:

Rust problems.
Engine is knocking.

EVERYTHING on the car that you see in the video above is up for grabs except:

Wheels.
Alternator.
Battery.
Radiator.
Door Handles.
Pass mirror.
Coolant bypass line (lower)
Rear Amp. (but not the speakers or the head unit)

These items above are sold, or being kept by me.

SOLD PARTS:
  • Passenger side mirror
    Both door handles
    Rear tail assembly and harness
    Old spoiler
    Coolant bypass line (lower)
    Passenger cup holder/vents
Center console (radio/climate control) outer trim bezel
I had to quote myself, cause most if not all of your questions were already answered. Sorry.

As for why I'm selling the Z? I have had that car all its life. I have fixed it many many times. It is time for it to go to a new home, whether that be someone's driveway or some yard's scrap pile. Yes, it sucks. Yes its terrible, but I'm just done "fixing" it. I have put way too much money and time and effort into it, especially over the past few years. I want to put that energy into a different build. I still want to have a Beretta though. Don't fret, I'm not leaving the game here. lol

Damn that thing is/was a rot queen! Looks like it was dangerous as hell to drive.

Was it at the point where it creaked or anything like that? Or did it seem normal to drive?

Well anyways, good luck with the sale(s)!

Yep. It was bad, but no it felt normal to drive. It had not actually collapsed, or anything to this date. I never let it get that far.

Updates today.

moneypitberetta:

All of your parts are pulled, just have to finish packing them up. The water pump pulley however is a no go. Rusted fast, and I managed to bend the damn thing trying to remove it. Sorry. Anything else you need for your stuff, let me know. Thank you for your extreme patience with me.

QuadZ26:

Your parts are also pulled and in a box, just need to finish packing them.

If anyone needs anything, again just post or PM me about them. I will do what I can to pull whatever you guys/gals want. Thanks.

The ones that go around the top of the doors correct? I can pull those. Lets see, that would need a long enough box, but not a big box.... hmmmmm And those are in nice shape, not peeling up or anything, not scuffed bad or marked up. $40 bucks for the pair shipped sound good?

Edit:

Going to have to take that back. I have a buyer on those already! I totally forgot that Tim wanted a set. Let me check with him and see if he still wants them. My mistake!

I have the molding off my parts car otherwise, the outer piece is good but the inner felt piece is gone. You would have to transfer the molding to your existing clips.

Check my thread for pictures.

I've been thinking it over, and I'm just super hesitant to run rollers and rods with twice the mileage the rest of the engine has... Save yourself the trouble, I'll wait for now. Sorry...

I need the console lid if it's not busted up. There are a few screws holding the bottom plate on. Can you take the plate off and get a pic?
