Re: What's on your BFest to-do list?
After planning for Bfest I had a set of friends end up picking Bfest weekend for a wedding... I was on the fence and was actually planning on not going to attend the wedding... Amy convinced me to just go to Bfest and they would understand. According to txt's to Amy, verifying if I was going or not, they are fine with it and understand, so I guess it's good. Amy is still going and may take her father with her.DUBS28 wrote:I can relate. We went to a huge car show out of town a few years back and skipped my sister in-laws wedding. It's been a huge family drama ever since and she or her husband still don't talk to us to this day.
They didn't come to our wedding many years earlier and we didn't make a big deal about it. We even told her as soon as she announced the date that if she could change it great but otherwise we already have plans that weekend.

That's why I had a court house wedding and we only invited my husband's parents. The lack of gifts and money sucked, but geez what a waste of money a big wedding is lol
Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

It doesn't have to be pristine, a lot of our cars aren't! Internet pics can be deceiving!
