My Bfest Trip...
Well as some of you know I ended up taking home the Endless Ride Award, and I have to say god damn I did a lot of driving to get that thing!
So Things started out on Sat with me heading south to NC to hang with Geoff for a few days before heading out West.
Geoff's slave shop where he made us work on his car... That timing belt hanging in the background was used as a whip when we slowed down....
Shiny...
After his car was ready we headed out on Tuesday AM...
Saw the Arch for the second time in my life... during the day this time at least.
Tires getting delivered for Dubs...
This about sums up the scenery between NC and Denver
I did not get photos of when Geoff's axle broke unfortunately, I was up to my elbows in grease so the last thing I was going to touch was my camera.
Here are a few various photos from the event
The camera takes off about 20yrs of age
Night time at the hotel

Don't make me use that timing belt... haha.
Thanks again for the help Jon, I don't know how I would've made the trip without yours and David's help. I need to cut back on the work hours...

Re: My Bfest Trip...
Having just joined this board a few months ago I really wasn't sure what a "Berettafest" would be like, but based on the photos, it looks like everyone had a blast and MAN!!! Seeing all the Beretta's!!! So many differing mods done, so many awesome looking cars!!! Living in KC and having been to Colorado over 20 times - family vacations when younger, seeing Robert Plant on his first ever solo tour in 1983, etc... - I know how B-O-R-I-N-G the drive from here to Colorado can be. But once you see those mountains everything changes!
I have no idea where the Bfest will be next year, but I am going to have to try and get there! And thanks 3X00 for posting a link to more photos. You really took some great shots. One question... who owns the copper colored Beretta? Can't tell, but it looks like a modified Z26... it's sitting next to a black Z - looks like a Z with GT wheels and grill - with a blue cooler in front of it. Reason I ask is there is a new Dodge truck near me that is copper colored and every time I see it I think of how cool that color would look on a Beretta. And then I come on here today and see one!
Anyway, great photos!!!

That's actually Heavywoody's car... The photo was shot in the dark under those annoying orange lights so the color's are a bit skewed... lol The color is Actually Cayenne Red Metallic.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I know Woody's car well from the photos on here. Love his car! At least that photo gives me an idea of a copper colored Z. LOL3X00-Modified wrote:That's actually Heavywoody's car... Re: My Bfest Trip...
Wow, thanks for the pictures Jon. I still wish I could have made bfest this year... Oh well, maybe some other time.
I actually did an over-night moon-lit cross-country hike in November many years ago up to and along the same road on Mt Evans where your cars are parked... It was so cold that when I poured some water from my canteen into a tin-cup, it turned to slush before I could bring the cup up to drink! At least there was very little snow on the ground at the time. That little shelter-cabin next to Summit Lake probably saved my life... It would have been pretty meaningful to me to visit that spot again on a bfest tour...

Re: My Bfest Trip...
I think pinky bested 26-27ish. I averaged 30-31 (I didn't keep perfect track so it's close enough) and peaked at 32.5.

Re: My Bfest Trip...
42.9mpg! Oh...you meant Berettas. haha
Our mileage was better on the way back following Jon because he was generally poking along about 75-78. We were doing 80-85 most of the way out...

Re: My Bfest Trip...
The first Group Pic is interesting.
I wonder how many more years til BerettaFest has more Non-Berettas than Berettas in the Group shot.
