'96 3100 Auto PCM ECM ECU Computer Whatever
'96 3100 Auto PCM ECM ECU Computer Whatever
I call these PCMs, because they control the whole powertrain in '96, but call it an ECM, ECU, or Bob, I don't care. This is a decent spare, I've tested it and it works, but I would rather have the cash right now than an extra computer I'll probably never use. So, PM an offer to me if interested, I should be able to flat-rate this thing Priority to any of the lower 48 for ~$11.50, so include that cost in the offer if making one. I would be happy with $45 + shipping, and would go a little lower. It ain't Solid Gold, nor the dancers. (
Oops, just dated myself there -that's okay, no one old enough would remember the reference anyway...)
I offered this to a board member before, but I don't think I put it up in the Classifieds... I really hope I am not double-posting here. If I accidentally did double-post, then I offer my apologies to anyone who is upset, offended, outraged, or mildly annoyed by it. If you are indifferent, then you'll have to get your apology from somewhere else, we are saving them for the more needy.

Will this work on a 94 Z26 3.1 AutoTransmission I am a real newbie to the Beretta world I am having charging trouble and a mechanic told me it could be the computer that is keeping it from charging.I am hoping to get some insight on the problem on here you all seem like a very knowledgeable bunch of people.Quick question are these Berettas prone to have wiring harness issues this thing is a wiring nightmare lots of areas where the insulation is gone I am getting a wiring harness for parts from a 93 Beretta at a local salvage yard here in Kansas getting that both headlight assemblies all the relays and several other things I need for like 20 dollars Thanks

Please list your location in the thread title and post a price rather than "make an offer" as these are both required by the for sale thread rules.

I'm not offering a 'come and get it' -Flat Rate shipping only. I like my location to stay private for privacy's sake. I'm not trying to sound pissy, honestly, but I thought someone on here could use this.Rettax3 wrote:So, PM an offer to me if interested, I should be able to flat-rate this thing Priority to any of the lower 48 for ~$11.50, so include that cost in the offer if making one. Re: '96 3100 Auto PCM ECM ECU Computer Whatever
This would not plug-and-play for either a '93 harness or your '94. You would need to do a '96 OBD2 harness swap to make this computer work for you. There are a bunch of threads on here about doing that, and reasons why to do it (mostly for tunability). Typically, if you are getting a '96 harness, you can get the computer with it. It doesn't sound like you need to worry about it though. But if, for whatever reason, you want to do that harness swap and still need the computer, just PM me, thanks.clayman612 wrote:Will this work on a 94 Z26 3.1 AutoTransmission I am a real newbie to the Beretta world I am having charging trouble and a mechanic told me it could be the computer that is keeping it from charging.I am hoping to get some insight on the problem on here you all seem like a very knowledgeable bunch of people.Quick question are these Berettas prone to have wiring harness issues this thing is a wiring nightmare lots of areas where the insulation is gone I am getting a wiring harness for parts from a 93 Beretta at a local salvage yard here in Kansas getting that both headlight assemblies all the relays and several other things I need for like 20 dollars Thanks
