At least these two will solve a problem.heavywoody wrote:LOL... in this case, two barbs are better than one?

But the car will be fixed and CSCS (http://cscs.ca) is on Sunday.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Well the car is back to DD until it starts raining. Man I love that 3.33 FDR after driving that POS Cavy. I remember the Beretta having a vibration when under more throttle than normal (like passing), but it is more than I remember. Not sure if it's a mount problem or if the 160k CV's would do that. At normal throttle everything is smooth.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
I think that vibration is from going certain speeds and the bodies are bouncing up against your floor boards as you go over them.

They are very old anyway, so I'll add that to the list of things to do.
1988GTU:Beretta bumpers are not made for that kind of thing. Add to that stock ride hight and most would just pass right under.

Money pit Beretta: That would hold true, except here in Mericuh' the standard physical body size would barely fit under a monster truck without touching.

I wanted to do the same with my car for our wedding...since it even matched our wedding colors. Unfortunately it was sitting in the garage with a dead trans at the time! haha

Damn right 1988GTU.
Ok I'll list what was done this weekend. The passenger mirror(the whole thing) was replaced with the one ACE sent me. The door panel on the same side was replaced with one from the JY. That gave me a mirror and a door panel that does not have a hole in it. Tested the blend door vacuum motors and they checked out ok(still have a leak somewhere). Replaced the 6x9's with some cheap ass JVC's that I got for 40 bucks. Washed all the year old road dirt/ garage dust off too. Put some Lucus oil in the PS pump to see if that would help the noise problem. One day I will replace that pump, but for now there are other things that come first.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
LOL well put! The odd thing is that one of the hoses that is on the lower blend door motor looked loose. After the check I put it on and it looked like it sealed better, somehow that was enough to make the brake pedal feel better. Also the car stops sooner too. I don't feel as if I need to bleed the brakes now(still may).

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Congrats Chad! I've been out-and-about for a friend's wedding a couple of weekends ago.
Drove the Yellow Indy around for a while, ran some errands with it. Completed the move on the Teal Indy today, parking it in the driveway between the GTU and the Yellow Indy. It was a PITA getting it out of the storage yard it had been sitting in for the last umpteen dozen months. One tire had gone flat, but seemed to hold air fine for a few days, it is going low again though. Too bad, they are a nice matched set of BFG's... There is a TON of work to do to restore this car... The sun has been brutal to it. But I am looking forward to getting it finished and back on the road, and see how the V-8 stacks up to my GTU's 3800...
