Umm, so long as we are being smart-@$$es here, 'breaks' can slow down and even stop a vehicle if they are severe enough, so...

Have you thought of lowering your price? This car needs a lot of work (and parts) for the asking price of 3 grand.

With all due respect, it's a nice $1700 car to list.
Take the first $1500 cash offer and be happy.
Or list it elsewhere. Did you see the teal one that he couldn't get $3000 for on here?
There is really no collector value to our cars, at least yet.
Ten years from now and it's like my no-rust Quad,,,,Maybe????
Just my .02

Re: 90 Chevrolet Beretta INDY (YELLOW) FOR SALE $3000.00 - O
Okay, I paid $800 for my Yellow Indy, but it also took me almost ten years of waiting and looking for one in decent enough shape to even buy that was close enough to me and cheap enough for me to actually get... I still had to dolly the thing home (due to a bum wheel-bearing) and spend a few weeks stripping and washing the interior due to mold and trash accumulation, and my car still isn't perfect, and although it does have a 100% functioning digital instrument package, it doesn't have the sunroof I wanted in it. I think $3k is a little high, mostly considering the higher mileage of the car (mine only had 150K, with allegedly only 50K on a newer engine -and the way it runs I believe it), but considering that yours is a Yellow Indy in basically really nice condition with a clean interior in good mechanical condition and without a rust problem, I would say it is a good price from which to start negotiating from. But, the problem is that Berettas, in general, just aren't worth anything for some reason.GHOSTOWLGRID wrote:Price: $3000.00
If you like what you see, please post here and comment below. If not, please post anyways, I am always open to comments and opinions.

...BTW, their were only 1,500 Yellow Indys made... The discrepancy is on the Teal Indys, GM says 6,000, the official Pace Car book said 3,000... I tend to believe GM's number of 6,000 about 99.9%...GHOSTOWLGRID wrote:Especially when there were only 1,700 yellow Indy's to begin with.
This and everything else about the car is basically how I came up with the price of the vehicle.
And your car is worth the higher of either what someone will pay you for it, or what you will accept to sell it, not one penny more or less.

So, maybe $3k is a little steep, it is still a nice looking car and that isn't a bad starting-point.

My garage is too small to house another show-class car, so even if I could have afforded it, I wouldn't have considered 90INDYLIN's car too seriously -it deserves a better home.
