E3.1L Turbo, I don't think they ever had a 2.8 turbo.
not true, there is a 2.8 V6 Turbo in the global v6 engine family.

Bah, 2006 doesn't count. That just came out!! I'm talking old school MPFI 60degree motors. There never was a turbo 2.8.

!! Good score. You guys with the 93 and older ECM's are lucky. Easy to go to boost and have a tune for it. If I had a 93 or older, I'd probably swap in a 3400. They do really well on boost. Then put in a TGP custom burned chip, TGP manifolds or mod my own.

TGPs only came with 3.1, no 2.8.  They were the special ones to get a 3.1 in '89.....
Chipped Auto TGPs can run mid/low 14s, in a what 33/3400 pound car or so.
Oh and TGP parts on an engine > on a floor

2.8 V6 TURBO
OK guys, quick help here...
I snagged a Turbo setup today out of a TGP or whatever...
I got the turbo, all the pipes/tubes I seen hooked to it, crossover pile, exhaust pipe (Dont see it on Texans pics?), Plenum, rear valve cover, coolant lines from water pump, and some sensor that looks like it was hooked into the turbo..
I did NOT get the fuel Rail/Injectors...
Is this something I will need???
Im going to get better pics here tonight. If I need something I DONT have let me know. When I bought this the price was to include ALL turbo parts and related items. SO if I need the fuel rail/injectors and some other lines that ran by the oil filter let me know. Its included in the price so he has to give them up
If so Im headign back that way on Wednesday.

You appear to have gotten the essentials...
You seemed to have missed the MAP sensor which you DO need, as its a 2-BAR map sensor....
You also will need bigger injectors, you don't necessarily need those ones as they are prone to going bad, so you will need ~22 lb/hr injectors or bigger, you will probably need to get a Memcal burned to fit the injectors as there is no promise they will work with the chip as it seems to be very tempermental to different injectors if they aren't aren't the exact impedence as the TGP ones. Also you will probably need a new fuel pump as well, you don't need a TGP one, a Walbro one is whats recommended most of the time, it seems to work great for people. You won't need the big downpipe as it will most likely not fit a Beretta. Also you can pretty much guarntee that the crossover pipe is cracked as EVERY ONE of them do. You can get the flex pipes cut off and relaces with new ones or order a custom one from Jeff Middaugh *http://www.turbograndprix.com/*

If I were you I'd just get a chip from some one burned with the TGP code. That way you don't have to worry about the TGP computer that might have something your car doesn't have and throwing a code or etc....
