Rough Idling

I have a 1990 Beretta GT it's got about 294 000 kilometers.  ONE of my problems is that my car idles really roughly when i am stopped at stop lights, stop signs and in drive thru. My car also sometimes stalls when in revers and runs even rougher when in revers. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the prroblem would be.

Check for vacuum leaks.  Also check for a dirty or non-functioning IAC valve at tht throttle body.  That's where I'd start.  Good Luck.
