1988 Beretta A/C Compressor oil level?

Post by Beretta1234567 »

1988 Beretta 6 cylinder with stick, anyone have the directions and numbers for filling a new compressor with oil?

Also, the total amount of R-12 refrigerant the system takes?

Thanks, I used to have this but that was years ago.

8 ounces PAG 150. Empty oil from new compressor into a bottle and top off bottle to 8 ounces, then put back into compressor.

The system also takes 36 ounces of R134A. If you're changing the compressor, change the orifice tube by the condenser as well, they collect debris in the system.

Thanks.
Someone had a book and let me borrow it this morning so I followed this post and the book for oil fill.
