Steering column
Ok first of all i have a 1996 chevy beretta v6 base model and after a wreck last saturday night (this is a race car) my steering wheel has became looser, now it has always had play but when i put new parts on it it turns alot better but my steering wheel turns alot sooner than my tires and this one has the tilt, without boring anyone to death i was just wondering if anyone had a diagram to take out the steering column or if maybe the bolts need tightening again thanks for the help

Try this: http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/0 ... .html#p111
I think that's the one I used when I tried to fix mine.. It was loose again in a week.

Re: Steering column
The collumn is mounted by 3 13mm bolts INSIDE. the first two are easy and are seen when the square plate below the wheel on the dash is removed, they are vertically mounted, L and R. the next one is in the 12 o'clock position when sitting in driver seat. about 12" away from the firewall. it can be tightened with a rachet with enough room.
