1992 Bertta gtz

Post by cmcelroy »

So in my local town there is a 1992, beretta gtz Black, comes with aftermarket speakers and sub, deck. The Car has just about 220,000km. Do you guys think its a good pick up at 600$ or am i just wasting my cash. any feedback is nice, Thank you. The interior is clean i believe everything is stock.

Check for all the known rust area's... $600 points to them knowing it may not be a survivor for much longer, or they are just pricing it due to mileage... But either way rust is your worst enemy...

Rocker corners below door hinges, Rear end between upper spring mounting area, wheel well/Shock area in rear, firewall near steering rack mounts and below brake booster, and bumper reinforcement condition will give you a good hint of overall rust.

That is only about 136,000 MILES which is not all that bad on a 22 year old car as long as it has been well cared for.

As Jon pointed out, rust would be the main issue.

Where are you in Canada?

$600 for a running GTZ sounds like a bargain to me, even if it needs some work. I still don't understand why Berettas have such a low market value... :unknown: Not crazy about the wheels, and the front-end looks like it is sitting unusually high... It DOES have an engine in it, right?
