Do Berettas have any sort of cabin filter?
Is there any sort of filter or anything that needs to be replaced or cleaned?

No replaceable cabin filter. The evaporator may get plugged with dirt and debris as the car gets old, however that would require cleaning.

Yes, behind the heater core. The only way to access it to clean it is through the blower box under the hood. I found a pic of right before I cleaned mine in 2002.

It's going to be tough... LOL, You may need to pull the rack to get it out. I know I put the steering rack back in after I had the box back on the firewall.

I was worried this would be an issue thanks for the heads up.. My AC is deleted would it be easier to just pull it out from inside clean it and put it back since I have my dash out already?

In the Quad4 car, it was doable once the STB was removed.
V6 car, I'd remove the alt with alt bracket as well as STB. Don't mess up on rounding off any of the hardware on that banjo box.

Yes that would be much easier...CorvetteBeretta wrote:I was worried this would be an issue thanks for the heads up.. My AC is deleted would it be easier to just pull it out from inside clean it and put it back since I have my dash out already?
I have my heater core out and separator plastic and the dash is still there but looking at it I feel like I could easily remove the evaporator core if I had to. That will gain you access to inside the box as well as allow you to remove whatever may be blocking flow right up against the evap core.

If your A/C is deleted, why even bother putting it back in?CorvetteBeretta wrote:I was worried this would be an issue thanks for the heads up.. My AC is deleted would it be easier to just pull it out from inside clean it and put it back since I have my dash out already?
