Re: Different seats....
It's been done. Get the seat tracks when you get the seats.
Almost any front seat will fit as long as you can figure out the mounting.
The rear may be a different story depending on the width. Cobalt should be close.

Re: Different seats....
It's not hard to make the mounts to install a different style of seats. What is the hard part is finding seats desired that will also fit/compliment the interior well. I have used both, the aftermarket generic seats with "universal" mounting and OEM seats from ford, late GM and foreign vehicles. In the end, I almost rather have had the GTZ seat redone by a pro to match the rest of the interior. Just could not justify the cost to have that work done when the floor mounting still required some attention. Waterleaks in these cars will ruin a lot, no matter the location where the Beretta is from.

Re: Different seats....
Fronts are easy to do I have rails made already I guess I was looking more towards the rear seats I'm going to go the the wreckers and measure some different GM rear seats ill post up what I find for who ever is interested.
Re: Different seats....
Rears will be harder to do. The tabs that hold/mount the stock seats dont mesh up with pretty much anything outside it's platform/era. You will be making an adapter bracket to accept the 'new' mounts IF you choose not to cut the sheet metal and fabri/weld-in the new setup.
