Bfest 2015 Registration OPEN!

Post by 3X00-Modified »

What I hope you've all been waiting for... Bfest 2015 registration is now OPEN!!

I will start this with saying I have not tested any of the OpenCart software on a phone so I will strongly suggest you do this on a desktop or laptop computer, I will not be humoring or supporting issues trying to register from your phone.

PLEASE I can't stress this enough, READ THE DESCRIPTION that is listed on the Bfest registration product. It includes everything you need to know about additional decals, the price of passengers, as well as what one registration will get you and also don't forget to add shirts to your order if you want them. They are at the bottom of the registration product under related products, OR just browse the Category for Shirts.

If you've registered through the Bfest shop in the past your old login information should still work even since we upgraded the store. If you do not know your login and know you've signed up in the past CONTACT ME I can recover your information and get you all setup so you can continue to use the same account as you have in the past.

If this is new for you just register a user as you would to purchase something from ANY store.

Ken has also offered to setup some time for those who plan to stay AFTER Sunday and go to New Orleans for some touristy things... I'm explaining this because that is an option on the registration, You can choose Yes, No or Undecided, He's just trying to get a head count to organize a second hotel for that potential event.

Now please also understand we ONLY accept Money Order and PayPal for payment. You DO NOT need a PayPal account to use that service. Paypal will allow you to use and process a regular credit card without signing up for an account, that's what they are there for. It makes it easier for us because we don't need to have or pay for credit card processing services.

Pay with PayPal Account option after click on checkout.

Just below you can click Pay with Debit/Credt Card or Paypal Credit. YOU DON'T NEED AN ACCOUNT

I will close this topic with saying, if you screw up registering with all the information available on these sites I will smack you in person at the event

NOW GO REGISTER!!!
Hotel Reservation cut off for the group rate is May 24th so Registration will be closing on May 17th!
:sparta:

Go to the BerettaFest Shop to purchase your registration and T's!

I'm afraid I'm out!

3 days travel, three days there and then three days to travel home.

That's $1500 in hotel rooms, $1000+ in gas, and I haven't eaten or drank anything, let alone whatever happens to my 25 year old car.

It's just too damn far, in the middle of summer and I can see Registration being somewhat limited.

Who the Hell voted for this place. I hope to Hell all of YOU show up!

Or you should be banned from voting for 3 years!!

FWIW!

Adding this to my as yet approved post,

If you vote for a location and don't at least register and pay for your registration, you cannot vote for 3 years!!

This is silly and will be the worst attended B'Fest since Niagara Falls when Mike Morris skewed it all claiming you had to have a passport to enter Canada, when in fact. at that time, you didn't!

75% of our members, AND the population of the USA, live in the North East!

DUH!! Where should the event might be the most attractive?

Or we could always get ingenious and tie it in with something people actually might want to attend, like maybe a Good Guys Event, or a Super Chevy Sunday!

This would work with our declining numbers and independent interest!!

I've suggested this before but have never round up the support from the masses and I agree that this will have to happen someday because the overhead of setting up this event is going to begin to outweigh the numbers attending...

I'm also not sure if it's visible for you but I can see who voted for which location... And there are 4 users who registered and voted for MS in the attended 2 or more bfests, but never posted with their account so those usernames were deleted by our trimming software that deletes inactive accounts after 60 days.

I think this would just kill our numbers even more so I'm not even going to humor it. Plus as you can see... Life sometimes just gets in the way and you can't attend... and honestly I don't want to turn someone's vote for a location into a forced payment if that location wins. That is not how this will work.

I didn't vote for this location and my drive is 32 hours each way. NY was my pick, sadly the one year that I finally am able to go and nobody is going to show up.

Lovely!

Well as it turns out there is a huge All GM Show about 40 miles from where I live that I will probably attend.
They average about 450 cars and I have never been.

But it's not about that.

Hell I'm almost 64 years old and really have no desire to sit in this damn car for 35 or so hours over three days only to do it all over again three days later.

I absolutely admit I will miss seeing everyone. It's been too long, but there will be next year at a more advantageous location, one would hope. %)

Not if those capable of presenting an Advantageous location stay home...

Eric (Woody) is not 63 (64 on July 3rd) and his reasoning IMHO is a little more selfish than mine.

But to each their own .

Maybe this would be a GREAT time to look into partnering with a larger, established event for the future.

I know Super Chevy and Good Guys encourage local/smaller clubs to attend and are welcome.

Good Guys may have a model year limit that might be a factor.

Say what you like folks. It's just too much for me to commit to at this moment.

That said. I AM going to register and pay to support the group.

FWIW!

Eric I told you, I brought that up a while ago and it wasn't accepted very well... We will see how the next few years go but we are not going to push that on the group right now.
