Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Dont know the feasibility, but either having the section bar that runs horizontally across the forum page for that area change from its current state to a contrasting color to indicate a new post or at the least, change the bubble color and icon to something not similar to the 'read' status icon.

I like the new setup but I find the login a little hard to find. Maybe make it bigger like the link account buttons?
92 GTZ 3.1/auto, no real mods other then a strut bar, I fight hard enough to get it road worthy!

You/we can figure out a LIVE Chat feature?
J-Body Club of Ontario, which is about as dead as a Forum can be, has had it for years.

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
That may be a Vbulletin board tho not phpbb.
1988gtu I'll have to look into that and see what I can do.
Having trouble understanding what you mean...
In the sections the individual topics have a colored bar between each.. same with the new posts search results or active topics results. Do you mean in the thread itself and have a stronger contrast from post to reply?

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Moved the login button from the right to the left as well as put the control panel link to the right... I believe that's how it was on the old theme.
Still unsure of what your talking about 1988GTU May need a screen print with the issue outlined.

Refreshing to see latest posts is a PITA if you step away for a bit.
Used to be easy.

Either way, I still am grateful for the new look and the added themes.
Thank you all! Fast action is an understatement regarding the expressed opinions/usability feedback.

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
You would always have to refresh the page to see new posts... I don't see how a theme would change that at all...Asylum wrote:Refreshing to see latest posts is a PITA if you step away for a bit.

There is a band that says "View unanswered posts • View unread posts • View new posts • View active topics"
Just click on the View new posts and they show up. I use the view Active Topics link and then the ones with the icons defined below are what I go to view because they are new.
In the forums the red circle is the indicator that there are new posts

Vs the normal

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Yes, however, the eye's have a hard time seeing the transition/change of color and subtle changes that it's only harder to see when on a mobile device. Was seeing if it can have another option or way to notice the changes. I am very aware of the View unanswered posts • View unread posts • View new posts • View active topics areas. Just the fat fingers and poor eyes tend to get frustrated navigating.3X00-Modified wrote:You would always have to refresh the page to see new posts... Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Unfortunately they theme is not optimized for mobile, I'll see if there is another theme out there that can be added and is better... Otherwise I recommend using tapatalk like I am right now.
Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Too bad that "section highlighting" feature couldn't be the new "unread" post/thread indicator.

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
I would like to see everything moved to the left 10mm then to the right 1cm. Is that possible?

Re: New Forum Theme!!!
Impossible to do that... the forum is written in American and not Canadian and there is no conversion for that request.
Yes i know 10mm is 1cm... you ass.
