How to remove entire Engine Harness?

Hey guys,

I seem to be having an issue removing the wiring harness, i originally thought it connected AT the firewall but it appears to go further.. Anyone have any insight for me??

It's a real treat removing that harness isn't it? I can say, that goop GM slobs on at the bulk head is a major PITA!

Definitely not impressed with the tar crap.. now i just need a new one to put in place of it...
