Why go with an all season tire? Do you expect to drive this in the winter?

I don't, but a performance tire for that price is hard to beat. If I have to move the car in winter though, I'd like to be assured it will be able to be moved!

I consider these my early 10 year anniversary gift for the car, haha.

We'll find out towards the end of the week how they'll do for the car, they're being installed Thursday!
Here I thought I bought it ten years ago, looks like it's actually nine years as of today!

Today started out good, until I started doing some work under the car today and found this little issue. Looks like I'm hitting up LKQ for their Memorial Day sale at the end of the month.

Be happy it's a bolt on part that's rusted.

Amen to that, I've already started soaking the bolts with some Deep Creep!

New tires are on! For how cheap they were, they're pretty grippy!

Took a lot of wet sanding and polishing to get rid of the gold, but I brought my intake pipe back to it's glory days!

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
Side project Sunday? Whatever, it sounds good to me!
I'd been planning to do this for a long time, and finally decided to give it a shot. Years ago on my gear indicator I painted over the orange with gold, because I thought it looked "cool." Well, it didn't match my instrument cluster overlay, my HVAC overlay, or even my stereo.
These things are easy to disassemble at least. I scraped the gold off with a sharp knife, and used red electrical tape where it was originally white.
The lens cover over the bulb was blue with the top painted black, so I used really light sandpaper and sanded the black off then polished it. I tried it out without the cover, but I didn't like selected gear being orange, it blended too well with the red. This will do until I replace the brighter 2723 bulb with a white LED. I also painted the housing part with chrome paint, not sure why they left it white, the chrome spreads the light further with the reflection.
Either way, it looks much better, it matches, and I love it!
