I personally like the old style 4 wheel drum brakes from the 60s. With full power braking no power assist.3X00-Modified wrote:Rear drums fail... lol Get some discs on there.

Everything was replaced about a week before I knew about the swap! That was a few years back, but it all works as it should and doesn't have many miles on the setup.

Good Lord I hate Photobucket.
First three posts now have pictures again. I actually am updating it as I go, because I found more pictures that I had thought I'd lost.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
I finally got around to cleaning up my trunk so I could spray it with bed liner, and I found some rust in the trunk that I had to cut out.
It sealed up real well, and looks great re-finished!

It's so hard to not take a picture of this car, even if I'm just putting food in the deep freeze before I park it...

I got bored and started tinkering, and I decided that the hammered copper I used for the bow tie on the grille just didn't match anymore, so I painted it gloss black. Glad I did it!

Is that a "flowtie" with the center cut out of it like the 5th gen Z28? I've been planning to do that for a while now.

Yep! I did that a few years back, I was bored and wanted to do something a little different. Just dremeled the center of it out!woody90gtz wrote:Is that a "flowtie" with the center cut out of it like the 5th gen Z28? I've been planning to do that for a while now.

Ebay specials!
The red looks much better than the purple did, and it actually matches! I also mounted the catch can in a better spot than the old purple one of them that I used to have.
Now to install the lip supports...
